How to Support Children & Families through Early Help - Signs of Wellbeing Training

The aim of this training is to increase knowledge and enable practitioners to work more effectively with children, young people and their families using Early Help, and identify needs early to give all children the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

Overview:

The aim of this training is to increase knowledge and enable practitioners to work more effectively with children, young people and their families using Early Help, and identify needs early to give all children the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

This training will focus on how to complete a good quality Early Help Assessment to ensure it is through and robust to meet the needs of children and their families. 

Target audience: 

  • Staff and volunteers who come into contact with children, young people and/or families

Essential Pre-Course Reading:

Please read and understand all of the information within the Pre-Course Reading document before you attend the Cumberland Early Help Assessment Training, it will support your understanding of the aims of Early Help and the Early Help Assessment Process.

The early help training will start at 9:30am, (please arrive 15 minutes before), and finish at 3.30pm. Tea, coffee and water will be available at breaks, but please make your own arrangements for lunch. There will be a lunch break of 30 minutes.
